Nandi House

The Weekend House for the doctor harmoniously blends Kerala＊s timeless architectural allure with contemporary aesthetics on a spacious plot. Responding to the doctor's vision, we partitioned the property, allocating half to a wild garden and crafting the remaining space into a modern residence. Our objective was to seamlessly modernize traditional Kerala style, evident in the substitution of Mangalore tiles with vibrant pigment red concrete and the exchange of wooden members for sleek metal steel MS sections. Elevating the design, the courtyard was strategically elevated to the first floor, visible from all angles, fostering a serene connection with nature. The house emanates a natural and soothing ambiance, embodying the perfect weekend retreat where traditional charm meets modern comfort for the doctor's respite.
